A very warm day greeted all at Medstead & Four Marks.
After the usual tea and catch up the gangs went off to work.
Keith H and Brian Hi went down to Alresford and Eddie and Pete went up to Alton to do the line inspections. Adrian C, Corina and John followed Eddie and Pete to Alton marking up sleepers to be replaced during forthcoming evening work parties..
Reaching Alton, they met up with Neil who had oiled all the points. After breakfast in the Station Cafe they all caught the first service back to M&FM.
Eddie, Keith and John stayed behind to drill out the nozzles of the new oil spray bottles to make the oil flow easier. Adrian C, Corina, Brian H and Neil caught the service back down to Alton to put together the last four new point oiling cabinets that were recently dropped off by the Tuesday evening work party.
Whilst putting up one of the cabinets a new p-way recruit was found.
It was nice to see Cheltenham back hauling service trains.
