With the continuation of the dry weather and good firm ground conditions, I took the opportunity of a spare afternoon to go to the railway to carry out some strimming around the Arleside hut between Alresford and Ropley.
Although there was very little sun, a couple of hours saw a very pleasant afternoon spent strimming in the immediate area of this hut, which was the first strim of the year in this area. All was completed in time for this weekends early season Gala on the railway.
