Saturday 20th December

A gang of 7 were in attendance at M&FM first thing in the morning for the day's activities. Ian J, Keith H, and Ian R (of Countryfile fame) set off on the line inspection to Alton with the additional task of surveying and marking up broken RNB 6 fastenings and rail chairs for replacement in the New Year. This left Adrian and John to go straight to the Pway hut site to re-commence bricklaying work on the chimney. 

Eddie joined them just after 11am, and then departed shortly after bound for M&FM to carry out the line inspection to Alresford with Ian R. Ian J and Keith arrived at the hut site early in the afternoon, and set about lineside clearance on the down side of the line heading towards Alton.

A very productive day with the chimney brickwork reaching the start of the stack, and the clearance work reaching the Yew tree.
