Jes Mania reports.............Confused by the clock change and with a glorious early morning sun rise, I returned before 08.00am this morning to check on the bonfire from the previous day. All was well on site at The Grosvenor hut, with about half of a tree stump on the fire still left to burn. The embers were still very hot, despite heavy rain showers late Saturday afternoon/early evening, evidence of a very successful fire. The edges of were turned in, and hopefully the remains will be able to be used to start another one soon as further clearance work progresses.
