Tuesday 2nd August
Overcast but dry conditions greeted the gang as they assembled at HQ. With 7 in attendance sleeper changing was possible, and after the flail machine was released to continue its work on the Alton section, the gang departed down the line to Grosvenor bank. Working through to just beyond Wanders Farm Crossing, 4 sleepers were replaced, a good effort by all.

Well done all. An impressive effort. You've shamed me into making an appearance this Saturday. What's happening with all the broken ones? I do hope they’re not going to be left on the lineside for the next umpteen years.
