A small gang of five turned out at HQ in dry sunny conditions. Ian J and Iain undertook the line inspection to Alresford leaving Eddie, John and Adrian N to walk to Alton. The Alresford walkers on their return to base then departed for a Pway Luncheon Club meet in Winchester with Martin R and Neil, and the remaining three left shortly after due to the lack of manpower to carry on with the fishplate oiling.
