On arrival at Totnes they were greeted by an eighth member, Great Western aficionado (there's nothing great about it!- Ed) Neil C, who was staying in Totnes over the weekend, and there followed a steady stream of friendly banter on the inadequacies of the GWR, of which there are many.
A return on the train to Staverton, saw the gang take the short riverside and woodland walk up to The Sea Trout Inn for some liquid refreshment and lunch. This is a very good public house and Inn, and thoroughly recommended to those visiting the Railway.
A further train ride back to Totnes and then on to Buckfastleigh for more refreshments and a walk around the Station yard brought a very enjoyable day to a close.
