Saturday 25th January

A gang of four assembled at M&FM for the days activities, which started with the cutting up of three lengths of rebar into 10" spikes for fixing down the sleeper roof on the new Pway hut. With the absence of train services and the line under possession, the gang then had the rare opportunity to use one of their Wickham Trolleys as transport down the line to the A31 embankment, where work re-commenced on the erection of the pway hut walls.

Neil and Paul C arrived at 11am to boost the numbers, and by the end of the day the rear and Ropley facing walls were in place, exceeding expectations.
