It was bitterly cold day, but fun was had by all. Lunch was taken inside the O2 Arena, followed by a journey by the Docklands Light Railway and tube down to St. Pauls, where the river was crossed via the Millennium Bridge. A brief encounter with the Tate Modern, and a walk along the river back to Waterloo Station brought an enjoyable day to a close.
Back on the Mid-Hants Railway, a small contingent were due to continue with fishplate oiling on the Alton section.... more to follow on this when Keith B returns from his travels to deepest darkest Shropshire.
