Saturday 16th April - Swanage Railway Trip

A report by our lady correspondent, Nora Cliski.............

Adrian C, Corina, Keith B, Neil, Martin and Bretta R met up on a beautiful sunny day down at the Swanage Railway.

The first service was caught from Norden down to Swanage, where they all got off and had a walk along the sea front. After this they ended up in one of the waterside cafe's for a cuppa.
They then caught the train back up to Corfe Castle where a local hostelry was frequented for lunch (much to Neil's glee having the first pint of the day!)

Adrian, Corina, Martin and Bretta decided to leave the other two to have "another one!" while they took a walk up to the castle. A lovely view from the top was to be seen, watching the loco come into Corfe Castle

They all then met back up in Corfe Castle to catch the service back down again to Swanage were another cup of tea was had at the station cafe. They then jumped back on back to Corfe Castle were Adrian, Corina, Martin and Bretta departed for a walk back to Norden, leaving Keith and Neil to catch the service back to Swanage. A good day was had by all.
