Today started with nine attendees for the day’s activities, Bill RW and Brian Hi volunteered to do the Alresford patrol with Ian J who was only in for half the day. Bill and Brian continued on to Alton after returning from Alresford on the first service.The remaining six made their way to Kings Pond Alton to continue the fishplate lub job, completing the Alton section having dealt with all the plates from the signal box through the three roads in the station area.
Eddie and Martin W were on the impact wrench with Adrian N and Brian Ha on hammer and spanner, leaving Tony N on the oil pump and John M on lookout duty. Neil C turned up for breakfast as he was bored at home looking after the dogs!
