With a few hours to spare on Sunday afternoon (not wanting to get back to the Mess for that last piece of Banana Cake as some may say), I decided to spend an afternoon strimming at Northside View hut. A good hour and a quarter was spent with the wire strimmer around the hut and its environment. With some careful use of the bladed strimmer it will be possible to open up further ground in the Ropley direction, now the the flail has been through, on top of the bank. And yes that last slice of cake went down very well, with an end of session brew.
