A Monday Special
In order to make sure that the chimney build on The Grosvenor hut progresses without any delays, your Editor and Neil spent an extra day on the Railway casting the concrete fireplace lintel, and re-building the Former for the section of corbelled brickwork. Both of these items will be needed in a fortnight's time, and the concrete in the lintel will need this time to develop sufficient strength to carry the first load of bricks above.
During the course of the morning it wasn't long before the temptation to take a train ride to Alresford for a bacon, sausage, and egg roll proved to be too great to resist, and the inaugural session of the Pway Brunch Club took place at the West Country Buffet!
