Wednesday 3rd February

A report from Nora Cliski.

A sunny dry morning greeted Adrian C for a meeting up at Ropley. This was to discuss the restoration of the Great Missenden signal box, which was moved there last Wednesday from Medstead. Once restored,, it will be a interactive teaching aid for visitors to the Railway.

After the meeting, Adrian finished painting the 50 3/4 mile post in the Newbury Concrete shed, ready to go out to its position on Saturday.

He then went to Northside and Wander's crossings to fit the brass caps to the "Whistle" board posts.

In the afternoon Corina joined Adrian, and they went to Ropley carriage shed to fix the "Whistle" letters to the newly painted boards. These will now go back out onto the line on Saturday ready for the Spring Gala the following week.
