A sunny, fresh day greeted the gang. After the usual tea and catch up they split into several groups.
John M stayed at base to undertake repairs to the Wickham trollies (both showing their age now with a list of issues to attend to), whilst Ian J and Corina went down the line to Alresford, and Brian Hi and Keith H went up the line to Alton on the point oiling and track inspection task (Neil joined the Alton walkers at Alton station). Eddie, Adrian N, Adrian C, Brian Ha, Pete and Martin W meanwhile went up to Chawton to continue with the fishplate oiling.
Once the walkers returned to base, Brian Hi, Corina, Neil and Martin R (who joined them at M&FM) went up to Chawton. Adrian C, Martin R and Brian then continued with the fencing work from a few weeks before, completing the remaining 5 strands.
Neil joined the oiling gang who managed to complete around 3/4 of a mile by the close of play, finishing just past the Butts Bridge.
Corina went up to culverts 54A and 54B to finish the white lettering and also milepost 51 1/2.
leaving Ian J to go down the line to Arleside hut where he undertook some strimming work around the hut and on the top of the bank in each direction.
